This hone is specifically designed to removed the tough heavy burrs created by a Sprax machine. For use with non-coated blades as it is very aggresive.
Hone your skates with a course or medium stone prior to sharpening. Starting out with a clean edge makes a big difference.
After sharpening finish the blade off with a medium or fine stone.
The small details will separate you from your competitors.
