Our yellow wheels are 70 grit and have a bond additive so they cut great, hold their form well, and have a fine finish.
If you only have one finishing head this is the wheel for you.
Yellow wheels are best suited for busy shops that have many types of skates, steel, and multiple hollows throughout the day.
The same formula as our balanced blue wheel with a little stronger cutting action, so the finish will be a little less fine than the blue.
Always perform the ring test before installing a grinding wheel. Put your finger through the hole and suspend the wheel. Then tap the wheel with your knuckle or a screwdriver. If it rings like a bell it is good to use. If you hear a “thud” it is cracked and must be discarded.
