Pro Tip:
Diamond hones are great for stainless and carbon steel to put on a smooth finish and remove micro burrs.
Diamond hones should not be used on coated or polished steel as it can scratch the finish.
Hone your skates with a course or medium stone prior to sharpening. Starting out with a clean edge makes a big difference.
After sharpening finish the blade off with a medium or fine stone.
The small details will separate you from your competitors.
